The Bush Smirk

Did you see the smirk on Bush’s face after having dodged the first shoe!! PP may not agree on a lot of Bush’s policies, but we appreciate the cat-quick reflexes and the confident demeanor during the course of battle. Its why W. is among our top choices of US presidents with whom we’d like to hang.

Just as a side note, can you think of the repercussions if this happenend to any other major world leader but Bush? If I threw a shoe at Ahmadinejad and screamed derogatory names I'd get landed in jail and rightly so. This guy does the same thing and the press is shouting for his release.

The disrespect and hatred the man engenders is absolutely baffling to me. I disagree with him (often) but this disdain so many seem to have for him is simply astounding.

Yeah, it would be fun to drink some beers with W, maybe smoke a bowl. Have a good laugh with him about his try as president. Pour out some liquor for the fallen soldiers and dead Iraqis. Give him a noogie and raz him about his approval ratings. Guilt-trip him into buying the next round of shots on account of the economic disaster. Try and keep a straight face as he drunkenly defends neocon ideology. Hold his tie as he pukes in the toilet. Call him a cab and be grateful he's not heading home to the White House.

Its unusual to find down-to-earth people fill positions at the tip-top of the American hierarchy. The fact that Bush somehow finds its funny that the journalist was so pissed he chucked his shoes at him is funny-as-hell to me. From this view, Bush is an iconoclast and a breath of fresh air among the typical smog of smugness among politicians. Good policy, Bad policy, I want to kick it with the man.

Yeah, wouldn't it be great to hang out with an average guy? I wonder what that would be like.

Buruboi,

A suggestion: Don't waste your time responding to trolls.

Buruboi,

Why don't you just remove the comments section of your blog and avoid any controversy altogether? Wouldn't you feel so much more in control of your site/image if you engaged in one directional communication? You don't want those readers of yours who disagree (trolls) to ruin your ability to control the message.
